| DSPE-PEG(400) Carboxylic acid acid is commonly used for its drug delivery applications. These applications include liposome formulations due to the cholesterol’s ability to help attach the liposome to the cell while the PEG provides stability to the Liposome. By changing the PEG length, one can change the micelle size, immunological safety, and change the drug release rate. This product can be used for targeted drug delivery systems due to the free acid’s ability to conjugate to specific molecules in order to achieve targeted drug delivery. |
