Cyanine 3 DBCO
Cyanine3-N-(dibenzocyclooctyne)
Cyanine DBCOs are cyanine dyes functionalized with a dibenzocyclooctyne (DBCO) group. By adding this DBCO group, it allows this fluorescent probe to be conjugated to various azide tagged biomolecules thru copper free click chemistry. Cyanine probes have a similar fluorescent profile to traditional dyes such as fluorescein but have increased photostability and water solubility. Cyanine probes can be detected using a variety of fluorescence detection techniques such as microscopy and flow cytometry.
