DSPE-PEG2k-Tetrazine is a high-purity synthetic phospholipid conjugated with PEG2000-Tetrazine. The PEGylation provides steric stabilization, prolonging circulation time, and reducing clearance by the reticuloendothelial system (RES). The tetrazine moiety allows the molecule to be used in biorthogonal click chemistry. Tetrazine reacts specifically with trans-cyclooctene (TCO) and can occur in complex biological environments without interfering with other biological processes.
