Revolutionizing Drug Delivery: Avanti's LNP Technology and Customized Lipid Components
For more than 30 years, Avanti has partnered with the pharmaceutical and diagnostic industry to develop solutions that save and enhance lives. In recent years, our focus has been on creating lipid components for Lipid Nanoparticle (LNP) delivery technology. LNPs are drug delivery systems that transport nucleic acid material using four key lipid components: a PEG lipid, amino lipid, structural lipid, and cholesterol. The cationic lipids sequester genetic material and encapsulate it in the structural lipid while PEG lipids functionalize the exterior, protecting the genetic material from degradation and allowing it to access the cell to create a cellular response.
