DSPE-pSar50 is a lipid that is composed of a DSPE unit conjugated to a pSar50 polymer. Polysarcosine (pSar) lipids are offered as alternatives to traditional PEGylated lipids used in RNA delivery vehicles. Compared to similar PEGylated lipid nanoparticles (LNPs), pSar LNPs have shown improved mRNA transfection potency and improved safety profiles.
