DMABA-d10 NHS Ester

4-[di(methyl-d3)amino]-2,5-dioxo-1-pyrrolidinyl ester benzoic-2,3,5,6-d4 acid

The DMABA NHS ester reagents were developed by Dr. Robert Murphy’s laboratory at the University of Colorado in order to create PE derivatives where all subclasses and potentially oxidized products could be universally detected using a common precursor ion in the positive ion mode by Mass Spectrometry.
d4-DMABA Derivatived Brain PE Extract. A. The positive ion electrospray mass spectrum of brain PE lipid extract. B. The NL141 scan of brain PE lipid extract. C. The positive ion electrospray mass spectrum of d4-DMABA derivatized brain PE lipid extract, which is shifted in mass +151 amu when compared with the spectrum of unlabeled brain PE extract. D. P195 amu to selectively detect the d4-DMABA labeled species in the brain PE extract.
